I tried to update the driver for my monitor as I could not clear the 'Driver not installed' message but now I have two driver files active and the 'Driver not installed' message remains. Is this display normal or have I missed something? Any advice would be apprecaited.

Hi,
You might try booting into Safe Mode, remove any and all monitor drivers. Reboot and let Windows find it and tell it that you have the disk. (Use the below link to download the latest and greatest driver for your model...if you don't already have it on disk)
http://www.sosimple.com/service/bbs.htm

Browse to the location of your downloaded file and hopefully, it'll take off for you.

You might also double-check your video card...make sure it has the latest drivers, etc.

Hope this helps you out...Good Luck!
