Neomagic 256AVP

I've tried to connect my Laptop to my TV using the approporiate SCART cables & connectors, but it won't work. The laptop using Negomagic and the TV option isn't available on the adapter config under display. Am I missing something or do I need something extra to get this to work???

Look in the bios. There might be an option for tv out, laptop display and both.

What kind of laptop is it? Some (Toshibas, some compaqs) have the Function keys and a "Fn" button assigned to them to activate the display overrides, to kick it out to an external moniter, or just use the screen, or both. If you can't find that, just post your laptop type in here, I'll find out.
