Ati rage fury maxx problems

I've got this pc:
Asus p2b+pIII 500+128 mb 100mhz+awe64+ati rage fury maxx+ win me
I downloaded the latest divers for this product and i 've follows problem:
1)My max screen resolution is set to 1024*768
Why?
2)I can't modify brightness in games so i play in front of a very dark monitor
3)Contol panel of the video adapter doesn't function very well cause when i try to set screen position from where nothing happens except for the fact the monitor become black for a second

Please somebody help me cause i don't know how to solve my problems

Did you install the proper driver for your monitor?

I've got astandard plug&play monitor that never need particular drivers.
Until yersterday i had tnt2 m64 that never give me problem such this(sorry for my english but i learned in school , in italy)

Honestly I'd say you should have either stayed with the TNT card or else gone with another NVIDIA card. I have a Rage Fury Maxx myself, and just got a Geforce 2 MX, for about half the price I get much better 3d performance, fewer problems. Heck, if you wanted to go with ATI, you'd been better off trying to get one of the Raedon Cards, that'd give you better performance than the Rage Fury Maxx any day...
