Just assembled a pc with some old parts i found lying around, this is the spec :
abit bx6 mobo
p3 450
288mb ram
3com 3c905btx 10/100
sparkle 3d grafix card, nvidia geforce 2 mx200 chipset 32mb
cd rom
2 x ibm 7200rpm 12.5gb hdd's
1 x 17gb seagate hdd

I just installed win2k, everything ok until i install the drivers for the graphics card, after i have installed the drivers, it won't boot back into win2k, just hangs on the loading screen. No blue screen or anything.

Have tried latest version of drivers from manufacturer, latest nvidia drivers.

Out of ideas, any suggestions ?

Make sure that the Video Card has not got a jumper on it that has enabled it to AGP4X as the voltage requirements are lower to AGP2X. If the board does not support AGP4X enabled cards (which some boards are funny about) this could be the problem. I have seen this before with S3 Savage based cards on certain boards.
