I have a ML810 motherboard with an 1.2 Tbird processor which has onboard video. I want to use my GeForce@ MX 400 video card and I have no clue how to disable the onboard video. I installed the video card not realizing that I had to disable the onboard video and needless to say - the computer doesn't acknowledge the new card. I went thru BIOS and do not see an option to disable the onboard video. Can someone give me a play by play on how to disable this?
OK next problem - I have another system - is a K7 Pro (MS-6195) motherboard with a AMD k-7 processor and AMD 751 chipset - using the same video card - I am experiencing lock-ups and black screens when I play online 3d games (Everqeust and Dark Age of Camelot). I have been to EQ's tech support and they offered a few solutions but none have worked. Direct X8 is installed and all the tests come back as passed. I am ready to pull my hair out - please any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Eme

First problem: Check out possible tweaks in your BIOS. You may also be able to disable (not uninstall) this "card" in your Device Manager. You did not mention which OS you were using, so I can't give you specifics on how to do that at this time.

Second problem: I had problems with Quake 3 under Win98 that were resolved by installing Win2000. Again, you did not specify the OS on that system either, so it's hard to suggest anything.

Give us as much info as you can on the systems in regards to OS, video card memory, etc...

Sorry for the lack of info. The OS is Win98SE.
The video card is GeForce MX2 400 64mb made by Visiontek. I have downloaded and installed the detonator drivers from their site the 12.41 version for my K-7 system.
The T-bird system has 512 memory
The K-7 has 128 memory and is using the AMD 751 chipset. I also downloaded and installed the mini agp port drivers.
Both have DirectX8 installed.
Sound Blaster Live audio card installed
DSL Kingston Ethernet card
All the Direct X8 tests come back as passed on the K-7 system but what I am noticing now is when I log into the game - I am seeing strips of colors at the bottom of the screen when the screen changes as it logs into the TM and Log in screens.
I hope this helps if not please let me know what other information you need and I truly appreciate you trying to help me.
Thanks Again,
Eme
