I just purchased TPM, on DVD, and when I play it using WinDVD 2000, it plays fine, but when ever the screen pans I can see that it stutters slightly. I'm wondering if its the drivers.

Anyone else have this prob?

TB 1.33 oc'ed to 1.4
ASUS A7V133
Win98SE
256MB RAM
GeForce2 GTS
Afreey 10x DVD
Detonator v21.83

This is why they make hardware DVD decoders, that DVD is decoding on your processor, and its giving up, you could check your proc. usage and see that it is probably spiking something horrible. Best advice barring getting one of these devices is to shut down all the programs running except explorer and systray and WinDVD.

IMO DVD decoder cards are no longer required with the new video cards.

Problem solved when upgraded to WinDVD 3.0
