I tried to install Windows Millenium couple of days ago, it worked great except for my Voodoo 5500 AGP card (see earlier post on the same matter with Windows 2000).
After having installed the drivers for the videocard and restarted Windows the system stopped just before the desktop was to be initialized* (*right after having submitted username and password). I have tried with every driver available (three different from 3dfx and two custom-made, none of them worked).
There's no conflicts under the system resource tab so I'm not sure what causes the problem.
Could this be a hardware conflict that Windows is unable to report or is it the video card that doesn't function under ME/2000/XP(?).
Any help on the matter is appreciated.
Thanks
