VoODoo 3 3000

I have a 3Dfx VooDoo 3 3000 16mb AGP in my computer. I got F1 2001 and i meet teh requirements but when i try to run it i get an error message saying: F1 2001 Canot ne run on this computer. No DirectX 8 Video Adapters Found. Is there any way to get this game to run on my computer? Thanks for any help.

Maybe teh Voodoo 3 is not DirectX 8 compliant...it IS an older card.

did the requirements mention anything about the card? (probably not)

The Voodoo 3 is dx8 compliant.

You just need the newest drivers
get them <a href="http://www.3dfx.com/downloads.htm" target="_blank">here</a>

I tried that last night. i downloaded v.1.07.00 and it still didnt work. I am running Win98SE.

Did it give you the same error message after you installed the newly downloaded DX8 drivers?

i installed DX 8 and it still does it.
