Installed ATI XPERT 2000 32MB video card on the following system:

PIII866
ASUS CUSL2-C
256 MB PC133 RAM
SBLASTER PCI LIVE
WIN 98 SE

When installed OS, it used the standard ATI graphics cards drivers for the display. Display was fine.

Installed updated drivers from AT website for the XPERT2000 PRO card, and rebooted. The display is currupted, where icons lose their colour, sometimes even dissapear. Menu items are greyed out, and sometimes are invisbile. Colour is weird. When I move my mouse over these anomolies, they most often correct them selves.

All latest drivers, especially for mobo have been installed.

Contacted ATI and they sugggested I use the BETA driver. Same problem ... corrupt icons, menu items and colours. I even tried earlier version of the ATI drivers, same thing

Any one know if there is incompatability problem between the ATI card and CUSL2-C mobo? Or is it ATI card and OS?

Thanks?

Well firstly I have to ask, is it Powered By ATI or an original ATI card?

Possibly try downloading the catalyst drivers from ATI?
