i have a problem running a game. i have a compaq 1275 (laptop). the neomagic neograph128xd is on it. i go to plat myst 3 and the picture and sound are so choppy i cant play it. as far as i know the requirements are all met. i tried to download a new driver update but honestly im not a wiz in that department. if someone could give me any type of suggestion it would be a big help. Although Laptops are not made for gaming, I would download and install the latest DirectX from Microsoft.

For one thing, that laptop video card may not be beefy enough to handle the game. The requirements say that it supports optional 3d acceleration, but now days it's not really optional. It seems like I've heard somewhere that the game ran slower than expected on a test system, but don't quote me on that. If anything, you should go to the myst3 website (www.myst3.com (http://www.myst3.com)) and download the patch for it, that might help.
