TNT 2 Ultra / WinTV Problem

I am getting fustrated. I have a Soyo Socket 7 Motherboard with a P233mhz with MMX processor. I have a Creative Labs 3D Blaster TNT 2 Ultra AGP with TV out. I also have a WinTV Card to have input my problem is everything installs my Video Card Works but when the WinTV runs ddcheck to make sure DirectDraw is correct ( I have updated the Video Card, WinTV drivers and upgraded to DirectX 7.0) it locks I can do a Ctrl-Alt-Del and end task on ddcheck. Also try to View through the software to capture and it locks Up. I tried adjusting the Aperture size disabling and reenabling my AGP 2x to no avial any suggestions??????

What chipset is on your Soyo board?
If it is an ALI chipset, the TNT2 chipset on any videocard has a history of not properly funtioning with an ALI chipset based board.

I've got similar problems.

A way of fixing it is to use older Detonator drivers like V3.65.
