I bought a voodoo3 3500 card that turned out to be a PAL card. I spoke to the vendor who told me to buy an adapter for the antenna lead (PAL to NTSC) which I did. I can now connect the TV antenna lead, but I still get no picture from the tv tuner. I spoke to the vendor again who told me to cantact 3dfx for new drivers. I spoke to 2 people there, but neither knew anything about PAL. Seems their support is for north america only. Is it possible to receive north america tv signals thru this pal card?? If so what drivers/changes do I need to make.

If you go into the menu from the tv screen, the "Video Standard" tab only shows PAL B as the available option and US is not in the country selections available.

I'de send the card back to the vendor and get the NTSC model if that's what you want. I would bet money that 3dfx is using different electronis on each version card rather than software to handle the difference between (50Hz Pal) & (60Hz NTSC).
