Just a simple question, what should I look for when buying a new monitor? (e.g. what dot pitch, etc.) I am looking for a monitor that's less than $500 that reduces eye strain, glare, static, and is good for gaming, and other graphic intensive programs.
I'm not worried about my graphics card since I'll be using a GeForce 2 Pro.
I found this monitor, made by Princeton, and it looks decent for $302:
Princeton EO900 19"
19"(18.1" viewable), 0.26mm dot pitch, 1600x1200 max. resolution, 95kHz Horizontal Frequency. Anti-reflective, anti-static coated, flat-square type tube.
That's just an example I found. Suggestions would be greatly welcome.
Thanks.
