Anyone have a hint or tip that will allow a Voodoo3 board to run openGL/Glide mode games in Win 2k. I have tried most everything I and another Tech know and can't get the thing to work.
It just locks or drops back to the desktop with an error messaage that it is looking for a file and can't find it. It works fine in normal windows mode and in Visual Basic or Visual C++ accessing direct3d Graphics. It is likely an easy fix but I am stumped/stuck
I have a Voodoo3 on an Athlon 800T-Bird,Gigabyte-ZX board. I have already downloaded the latest drivers from the ,now defunct, 3dfx website and also gotten the latest updates from Microsoft on Win 2k. The board is using a VIA-kt133 and ami BIOS.
