Hi, I have a curiosity question. I am running Windows ME on a 650 Athlon System. I have installed a Voodoo5 AGP card. When I go to the dxdiag, display tab, it says that AGP texturing is not available. I am just wondering if there is a reason for this or if I maybe need to try different drivers or go back to Windows 98SE to get full use of this card or something. Any advice or info would be greatly appreciated.

3dfx never did AGP Texturing so what you are seeing is right.

Because the V5 uses PCI bus speeds due to SLI it won't take advantage of the AGP 2x/4x.. But it does do 1xAGP Texturing :D

It shouldn't affect performance either. Your info may also say you only have 32mb or onboard RAM. That's also because of SLI and how it shares RAM. That isn't a problem either.

It's all good :D

AGP texturing is only being used at HIGH resolutions. 3dfx knew this, that is why they put more memory on board to get rid of the 66 APG texturing. Local SDRAM at 133 (higher?) is better.
