One of my customers left me an old tv-tuner card, saying it's not working.
The card can't be detected under windows at all.
It's an old 8-bit ISA one, about 34cm long.

Can someone help me identify it?

It says:
LR008 Rev http://www.windrivers.com/cgi-bin/forum/biggrin.gif
The tuner unit is made by Hitachi (2429332, V8-E52F, made in japan, I-5F19-B).
It has a chip which is a Lattice pLSI 1016-60LJ D525B04.

Is there a chance of finding it's driver and getting it to work, or is it a good piece for a computer museum?

Any help would be welcome.

Thanks in advance...

Find its FCC number and do a search on it here on the windrivers site!

The damn card has no FCC.
I thing the best place for it is the trash bin.

Thanks for your reply

It might be an old dumb terminal vid card, in which case it is probably too slow for your motherboard.

Yep, thats what I think too.
It's not worth the trouble. Anyway...
Thank you all for your interest.

I have something similar here which I have never been able to get drivers for which was manufactured by Trident. Possibly the same card although I cannot remember which bin I put it in http://www.windrivers.com/cgi-bin/forum/smile.gif

using windows 98 as your operating system, plug in the board. turn on the machine and the wizard should detect new hardware and cue you in. use """whatever drivers""" you have available, video, monitor selection keep selecting drivers till you see that you have two moitors this is in display setting the tab behind screen saver right: settings.....in my computer go to control panel go to system go to device manager click video adapters double click one of the ones listed change drivers till you get two monitors in the setting tab....
note does the monitor do anything that is connected to the board double click....change drivers till you get it to..
try dragging something off the screen onto the monitor that is connected to it. ...hi DENNIS

one problem. The card is ISA and Win98 does not support multi monitor through ISA adaptors. The combo for multi monitor must be either AGP + PCI or PCI+PCI ( up to 8 adaptors )also the adaptors must be using specific Win98 only drivers ( not the old Win95 ones ).
