[RESOLVED] ATI 3D Rage II + DVD

Well, that's what it says on the card.
And it simply will not work properly in Windows 98. The best I can get in 16 colours at 640*480. I've tried the ATI site, used the w82420en Setup thing, tried all manner of drivers, and still windows tells me that "the loaders for the device cannot load the required drivers (Code 23)"
Ring any bells with anyone?

I have used ATi win95\98 plenty of times, no problem.
1> go in in SAFEMODE (not standard mode) go to device manager, remove everything under display and monitors. Also good idea to check while there for duplicate disks, cdroms etc and remove them.
2>on restart either windows will autodetect and install the driver or will ask for one, if it asks, point it to the ati\support (i think thats it) dir that the driver you downloaded installed when you ran it.
If it doesnt auto install or ask, go to display, settings, change and point it to the new driver.
