Virus Problem

Help I have a client who pick up a virus the assoc exe files with itself...the file name was stxcoywhkjyla.exe. He then installed norton and it isolated the file but did not reverse the association. Now no exe prog will run .....how do i edit the registry without an exe and does ahyone knoe the key for this association

I've mailed you a .reg file, import it. It will go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT and should fix the basics of the association.
