I have a toshiba libretto 30ctk. This is a japenese model. I have upgraded from the original w95 os to w95os2.
After the upgrade the pc card is reporting as an Other device, pc card services. I have been unable to find the correct driver for this item. Can anyone help out <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

card services for some reason does this as windows can't figure out from the card what the pcmcia services should be called.

You should still have another entry for the card in device manager as well as card services. If this is the case I suggest you leave it alone as long as the device is working!

You can if you know what card controller is inside your machine select one of the card services from standard devices in add/remove hardware, to be honest they all seem to work just the same.

thanxs for the reply confus-ed.
Yes i do have another entry for the pcmcia socket. And yes it does seem to work fine, but it was starting to niggle me again so I wanted to find a solution. Unfortunately i dont know the manufacturer of the hardware. So it looks like Ill be leaving it alone now.
Thanxs again for your reply
