Greetings all-
This is a strange problem. Anytime I double click on any icon, I get a illegal operation box about Explorer. The details read: Invalid page fault in module SHDOCVW.DLL
Then when I hit the close button, another window appears that reads: There was an internal error and one of the windows you were using will be closed..." (The title is: Microsoft Internet Explorer".

Is this a virus? I am trying to setup Internet on it, but cannot run Control Panel, or IE, or anything.

Thanks,

Al

Your might find your answer here (http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/q239/0/94.asp?LN=EN-US&SD=gn&FR=0&qry=SHDOCVW.DLL%20&rnk=1&src=DHCS_MSPSS_gn_SRCH&SPR=W95)

Below is part of that page:
This behavior can occur if the Win386.swp file located in the Windows folder has its file attributes set to read only. Windows uses the Win386.swp file to create virtual memory.
To resolve this issue: Click Start, point to Find, and then click Files or Folders. In the Named box, type win386.swp. In the Look in box, click Drive C, and then click Find Now. Right-click the Win386.swp file, click Properties, and then click to clear the Read-only check box. Click Apply, and then click Close.
