IE 5.5 - refresh sometimes shows the html code

i'm confused on this one. Recently I've noticed that when I'm on certain sites like ebay and I click refresh in my browser, instead of showing a normal webpage, IE decides that it would rather show me the html code. I'm using ie 5.50.4522.1800 on windows 98se. Anything short of formatting that will resolve this?

Go into the properties of IE and reset web settings and restore defaults. If that doesn't work you can use the repair tool thatis built into IE, and if that doesn't work try downloading IE 6. <IMG SRC="smilies/tongue.gif" border="0">
