Hi all

Running 98se.... on tbird 1 gig
Icons near the clock in the systray were all fine, really detailed etc etc.
Loaded the AMD Desktop Theme, and now they're all crappy, like it's a bad laptop screen. Uninstalled the Theme, and reset to normal settings, but they're still screwed.
Anyone had this before, and know how to fix it.

Rest of the screen is fine.

Kind regards

Check to see what the size of menu bars is set to under Display Properties -> Appearance. If the bar is to small it will scale down the icons to fit on less pixels. I beleive the default setting is 18.

Hope this helps.

it's actually the caption buttons (<FONT size="2" face="Marlett">01r</font>) the minimize,max/restore,close buttons.

a setting of either 19 ot 18 should work

another thing to do is fix it is to change the colors to windows standard, the go back into themes, choose your theme, and uncheck Font and Window sizes before applying it

You will need to log-out and back in for the systray icons to return to normal

Thanks for all your help.. It wasn't a major thing, but was bugging me, cos the rest of the machine is perfecto..!

Anyway,, I did set both the above mentioned settings to 18, and also used Tweakui, repair icons, and all the other repairs, except for the registry one... Rebooted, and all was fine....

Thanx again for all your help
