Hey anyone out there had any problems with the new IE? If so give me any comments I started to have mass problems with system.ini file being corrupt. Lost drivers, missing *.vxd files. Along the same line anyone have any ideas on fixing the system.ini file?

I installed the beta and it did run fine for me.If you downloaded it you may have had a corrupt download.I was impressed that when i uninstalled it the system still works fine and still cruises the net fine.Just my $.02

I installed it on a machine running ME and MP 7. I tried to run MP outside of IE and Igot frequent lock ups and most of my licensed media files would not play (the licenses were on the same machine). Then the damn thing would not boot. It would get to the ME splash screen and reboot every time. I just FDISK/FORMAT and installed 98/2000 Advanced Server dual boot.
Will wait for the final release version to reinstall.

I have had more success with MP6.4 than 7. You can still find it for download at MS's site since 7 won't run on Win95 machines. BUT I don't know if MP6.4 will work with IE6 installed.

Right again as usual, Darren! I haven't had a problem with IE6 on my box, yet.

I ran IE6 on WinME and now running on Win98SE with no problems. It's also installed on my Win2k machine no problems either.
