Outlook Express

I have a customer who has been using Outlook Express 5. He called me out to re-install it and after uninstalling IE5 and re-installing it, it still refused to open Outlook. When clicking on Outlook hard drive responds but then stops and not even logo appears. Have reinstalled Win98 over itself but with no success. Installed Netscape and it works fine. Anyone got any ideas what I can try short of reformat and reinstall Windows 98. That is hopefully last option.

reinstall OE5 from the SP - take it from microsoft's site. SP1 update now is available.

Look at what else is open at the time another program may be stopping it, Antivirus for instance stopped my Outlook from running for a while.
