I assume it's the setup program run from the DOS prompt that does this? "Packed file is corrupt" is the error message given by some DOS executables when they find themselves loaded too low in memory. If it happens again, try filling up some memory, like load a mouse driver or something, and see if that corrects it. Since a mouse driver can load at the top of memory, a better way might be to load DOS low (no DOS=HIGH command in CONFIG.SYS) or have large values for FILES and BUFFERS, anything to eat up memory.

Yeah,I did that and had the same result. All the tech's I asked(locally)told me to see if the parallel port was set to epp instead of spp, still no result,I did get another HD to but win95 as it was all setup from a dell machine/laptop,went through all the plug and play and is up and running.I better GHOST it huh?(IMAGE)LOL :p
