I seem to have deleted the file tools.dll by mistake.Everything is working fine but every time I reboot I get a message saying that this file is missing. It is not in my W95/98 CDs. Where can I get it from? Thanks.

It was probably a .dll that belonged to a program that you deleted or uninstalled. For some reason, the uninstall left a reference to the file in either win.ini, system.ini, or the registry. Check these files for references to "tools.dll" and delete them. Steve schultzz May 7th, 1999, 12:51 PM I just checked...this dll comes with Iomega ZIP drives and probably their other drives as well. I believe it is a part of one of their software packages. Check the Iomega setup software for the file you need or contact Iomega...perhaps they can help. Hope this helps... TravTech May 8th, 1999, 02:39 AM Check your system.ini file & see if it's being loaded from there. If so you can either delete the line or just put a semi-colon ";" in front of the line. <img src="http://web.starlinx.com/travtech/images/test.gif" border="0"> [This message has been edited by TravTech (edited May 08, 1999).] windrivers.com
