Hi

I just did a clean install of Windows 98 SE and when I start up Outlook Express the system automatically resets. I've tried deleting the .pwl file and un/re installing from the CD, but still the same error.

Whats more confusing is that I've had Windows 98 on this computer before and OE ran fine. Its an older AT system, and I think that my
previous install of 98 was an upgrade. Is this the difference? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your efforts!

Got a copy of Office? Try Outlook. As for OE resetting the machine, is it ONLY OE that causes this? How much memory is in the machine? What about if you start IE first, then click mail (to start OE?)

Sorry I can't be of more help now, but it could be a number of things - post more of the system specs...
