win95/aol won't surf

After Aol is launched it won't open web sites. Can't surf. It was working fine until this guy bought it and let his grandaughter uninstall stuff. I can't get aol back for him. The program has been reinstalled, but still, didn't help.? Anyone know?

Uninstall AOL. Then uninstall all networking in safe mode. Reinstall client for MS, dialup networking, and TCP/IP. After a reboot install windock2 and DUN1.3. After another reboot then reinstall AOL.
