[RESOLVED] Media player Win98

My media player hung up when i can play any files.
I have win98 Pan Euro, AMD K6-2 266
Motherboard QDI Advance II with chipset MVP3, Sound card Creative Labs PCI64V

Boot into SAFE mode, go to the CD-ROM settings under the device manager. Uncheck the DMA setting. Reboot the computer. Everything should now work.
