Is there a way for me to assign any special letter to a partition besides the defaults. Because I have a windows 95 pc with 5 partitions, C trough G, but I am running an application that needs to have the letter G free so I can map a drive to it. This is a huge database that was originally set up to use the letter G as mapped drive, and if I want to change the drive letter I have to change it on every other pc that I have, and I don't want to do that. This application will not work with any drive letter, it has to be letter G, because of the way it was setup when it was created. I know that under Windows NT you can set any letter to any partition. Also I already have data on this partition and I would like to keep it. Does anyone know of any utility or how can I free this drive letter. Any help will be appreciated.
