I got this message today the first I have ever seen it:
An internal stack overflow has caused this session to be halted. Change the stacks settings in your config.sys file

My Config.Sys file reads:
DEVICE=C:\WINDOWS\HIMEM.SYS
Rem TShoot:
DEVICE=C:\WINDOWS\EMM386.EXE
Rem TShoot: DEVICE=C:\WINDOWS\EMM386.EXE

It just happened the one time. Is there a line or something I should add to the config.sys? I just love windoze!

I don't know if it is your problem, but you may take a look at this article:

Yep! It sure was. Added a line to the config.sys Stacks=9128. Cured the problem. :D
