When i shut down,i get this message"MSGSRV32
caused a general protection fault in module
Cm83305B.DRV AT 0003:00000B75." if anybody
knows what this means.Please tell me.

Yep, I've seen it a couple of times. You need an updated driver for your CMI sound card.
