If you're sure about that, you can simply flash the old BIOS back.
Have you checked the FAQs and information files at Asus Website?

i had just dealt with this one this morning on a compaq ep deskpro series, the way that i handle it is by booting into safe mode, going to regedit and deleting the enum key under local machine...reboot the machine...add new hardware and let it detect all of the devices again..i normally go back to the old drivers if the window comes up saying that the existing drivers is newer..yada...if you can't get into safemode...i don't know what to tell ya...
goodluck
