unkown device is driving me nuts

Well I know its going to be one of those days. Anyhow, I'v got a computer running windows 98SE on a soyo sy-7iwm/l motherboard with built on video/sound(crystal wdm), AMR Winmodem, 64 megs memory, and a little thing that keeps poping up that I can't figure out, an unkown device at FFB80000-FFBFFFFF. I have tried re-installing the sound, and modem, and tried any patches I could find from soyo's web site, but nothing will take this device away. I'm sure it's something simple, but i can figure it out. Can I get any help?

hey, did u happen to recently upgrade to 98se? either way, try booting into safe mode and checking for ghost devices in device manager. when did this start happening?

Well I got in this morning an it looks like my boss sent it out with that error. I will keep the information in mind if I get another computer again like that.

If that was an Intel chipset.
You needed to go to the Intel site and get the chipset update for the firmware hub to be recognized.

The firmware hub driver is listed on the Intel website as Intel Security Drivers I think. This "unknown device" is found the Intel 810, 815, 820, 840, etc. chipsets.
