Power Scheme restarts my computer

I have this problem with the power scheme under the Screen Saver. I have it set to shut down the monitor and leave the hard disk alone and all that good stuff. The problem is that when I come back to get onto my comptuer the comptuer restarts. Does anybody have a clue why this happens?

Do you have a power lead from the PSU in the computer going to the monitor. If the monitor has gone to sleep, and you move the mouse to wake it up, it could be drawing power from the PSU and computer. Try a normal cable from a mains socket to the Monitor.
Or.
Check the Bios settings... There are usually Powersave modes and timeout settings in there.... wierd one! http://forums.windrivers.com/cgi-bin/forum/smile.gif
