will not uninstall

iomega ware will not uninstall, there is no trace of it in the root dir. registry keys maybe? I need to reinstall it because it is for an external usb zip drive and the soft. will not install because it says that a product is already installed. what the *@$%^!

Yes, it's hiding in your registry. Open regedit and search on Iomgea. If you find them, delete the keys. Search the whole registry.

You could try using RegCleaner available at www.vtoy.fi/jv16. (http://www.vtoy.fi/jv16.) It's a good cleaner which has an uninstaller for all softwares and removes an backsup the keys etc. Good if you want to see where the damned software was hiding in your registry.
