OK. Is there any way to lock toolbars in Windows, Office, etc. from users random and dangerous mouse-clicks? I am tired of having to go back and reload, find, set, etc. toolbars because an end-user (family member) totally tweaked the system.
Don't get me wrong, I try to teach them the meaning of the word "Don't".

looks like you need to install Microsoft Family Login and create profiles for each member of the family so they will get their own preferences and toolbar settings etc.

So, installing Microsoft Family Login will terminate the ability for users to "screw" up toolbars, etc.? Or just make it possible for them to only screw them up in their "profile"?
What I was looking for, is more of an overall restriction for things like system settings, application settings, etc. I guess I need to look for third-party eh?
Thanks for the notes!

Poledit is what you want. From your '98 cd go to Tools>Reskit>Netadmin>Poledit. This version is much better than the "gray box" version in '95.It's either on or off as far as access to folders, control panels, 'run only' apps. etc. Try it out and play around with the settings.(backup your dat files first because your using poledit as a friendlier dashboard for the registery!)Let me know how it works...have fun being big brother
