Hello, like I mentioned in the subject line...i uninstall a program and it gives me the "uninstall succesfull" box, when I turn the PC on again at a later time the damn program appears....Can some one help me....I've tried the program's uninstall and the remove program from the control panel. All help is appreciated..

The program is "Connect2Party".

Is it something you installed on purpose? It sounds like on of those porn dialers.

thanks for your help.....that web page helped me get rid of the problem. I did exactly what the web page said, but the program kept appearing after every boot. Then I searched for all files that were created/modified that same date and hour. I found a file that wasn't being deleted by the uninstall program. I went to startup in the system configuration and sure enough ... it was there under System Task. All I did then was uncheck this particular box and that was the end of that. I opted to delete the file too. The name of the file was c:\mt.exe. Thanks :cool:
