when i sutdown win 98se the computer goes to access the a drive. how do i stop this? also can you speed up the search time on drive a?

MacGyver February 26th, 2001, 07:31 AM Clear out your documents menu (delete the contents of c:\windows\recent\) there might be a shortcut in there that refers to A:. More likely your antivirus software is set to scan A: on shutdown.
