I have tried different drivers, disabeling devices, installing patches, and many other things that I can't remember. I have search for online support and found NONE. I need your help.

I've intalled 95b with the same board/cpu. there's a trick. UNDERCLOCK the system down to about 200 for the installation. Then install the AMD k6 patch for windows 95. Shutdown and set the clock speed where it should be.

You should actually be able to overclock it if you want to once you have the patch installed.

Never tried 98.

Good luck

UH, Bdunn?
That amd k62 patch is for amds running at 350 MHZ or faster under WIN95 osr2.0 to 2.5.
I'd have to say it's that pcchips board.
They are crap boards with approx. 50-50 success rate and very buggy with 95 or 98.
I'm never touching those boards again!!!!

The patch was designed for chips running at 350 or faster. the issue it resolves actually occurs with all AMD CPUs but most frequently with the faster ones and also more frequently on certain boards. I've used the same combination and underclocking works to get it setup.
