Ok if your building a new machine i would suggest puttin an OS Loader on there. Reason for it is to have windows 95 and windows 98. I know some of your may be asking why but windows 95 is a damn speed demoned when it comes to high quality machines. So why put 98 on there at all well see the makes games and whatnot for 98 so it would be good to have but remember 95 Flys with any machine over 500 mhz. just an interesting fact for you... http://forums.windrivers.com/cgi-bin/forum/smilies/cwm44.gif

Windows 2000 flies on my 1Ghz T-Bird as well. Why use a less superior operating system that is no longer supported and is sometimes impossible to obtain through the Channel? If Microsoft no longer manufacturer it and the DSP's don't supply it anymore then Microsoft class it as ILLEGAL!!!!! Strange one that isn't it

I bet DOS 5.0 and Win 3.1 is a real Speed Deamon in a 500MHz + Machine but why load it if it is not supported. http://forums.windrivers.com/cgi-bin/forum/smilies/cwm1.gif

Well if speed is what you are looking for why not just install Linux.
I have it on my P-133 16 megs of ram laptop and it flies.I put Win95 on the same laptop and it is tolerable but not as fast as Linux.
And it would be better if I could understand what you are saying and what the point is.
I don't know what the rules are there but here you can't load something the customer doesnt buy (Unless it is Linux).

I'd have to say head to head, Windows 2000 will run a lot faster than Windows 95 on an identical setup. Plus there are service packs coming out for Windows 2000 still while Windows 95 is extinct. Thanx for the suggestion, but my Windows 95 cd has been collecting dust for quite some time now.
