Having some problems with MS Fax over a network. Does anyone know how to install it ? (stupid question.. *sigh*..)
Never played with it myself, bit of a Winfax fan, but a client insists on using it.
I have installed Windows messaging on the PC, and MSFax locally, but when i try to install over the network, I am prompted for a driver, that does not appear to be anywhere.

Thanks in advance guys.

I thought that it was part of the Windows INstall. Check the add/remove progys...Under Microsoft fax..

If not, I'll check the cd... there is an exe somewhere, i think in the extras folder, that has it...
I've done it once before, but i'll need to check on it....

MSFax used to be an install option with Win95, but they took it out in Win98. It's still there, though. Get a Win98 cd, goto /Tools/oldwin95/message/us, and you've got awfax.exe and wms.exe. I think the Windows Messaging is required to run Windows Fax, which may be the files it's prompting for. Try installing both on the machines that want it.

Oops, just reread your post, looks like you've already done all this. Only other suggestion I can make is try running these two files locally from the CD rom instead of over the network. Perhaps something's getting snafu'd there.
