I am trying to use IE4 to view web pages. I get the error message about Content Advisor is missing or has been tampered with. I don't recall ever tampering with the Content Advisor(Content Tab under internet options). It asks me for a password. I never put one in place. If you go to microsoft's website, it says if you forget the password then you must contact them for a solution. Anybody else go thru this??? You can search for this problem on their website using Content Advisor. You can't reinstall the software to correct the problem. I am thinking there must be a registry correction to get it to go away. Please help if possible. Thanks.

Hi Russell; Personally I am not to keen on IE4 Or IE5. There have been to many reported problems with these browsers and people are getting frustrated like you with answers which Microsoft offers very little or no Help on. (What's New)! Personally If you are game for a new Browser, I would Highly recomend Netscape Communicator 4.7 which you can Download for free HERE (http://home.netscape.com/download/index.html) http://www.windrivers.com/cgi-bin/forum/smile.gif

I use it everyday with No Major Problems. And Netscape offers excellant support for their product.

Hope This Helps: *** Starbuck ***
