I know this is an NT forum question but I thought I might have better luck here. I am working on a NT Server 4.0 SP6, the video will only display 16 colors as if it were in vga mode, tried new drivers, still the same, installed new video card and still only 16 colors. I am running out of ideas on getting the video to work correctly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanx Andy

What kinds of video cards have you used?

Are you installing the Drivers in VGA mode or standard mode? Sometimes NT 4 can be funny and will only recognise the drivers being present in Normal mode if they have been installed in VGA Mode.

The video card is a generic pci card s3. Loaded the drivers in normal mode. BIOS settings are OK.
