[RESOLVED] Bios upgrade

Is there danger in updating the Bios? I mean I want to find an updated Bios for my system on the internet and run it. Is this a stupid question?

You should only do it if there is a need to. If your floppy is bad, the power fails, there is a surge etc. you may end up with a dead bios. that said many people change their bios every time there is an upgrade, and have never had a problem.
