The entire error is:

wusser32. Mdule gdI.exe at 001:0000784e

This error is encountered right after the login script.

System Specs:
Compaq Deskpro EN PIII-733...128MB RAM. On an NT network, running SMS. OS is 95.

MS web site does not have this entire error. I did find some refernece to the winuser32, and SMS Remote control (which we are running), but that was for NT machines and this one is 95. So, what I have done so far is run SMSMAN which installs/uninstalls the SMS components....did no good....help?

Thanks in advance....

are you by any chance running a Matrox G400 or G450 card ?

I'm afraid there's no solution to this...

I had to replace the card to ATI..

you're welcome :)

I cantell you how I happen to know that.

I'm the SMS admin (among other things..) in m company.

Everytime SMS causes problems (or some thinks it's SMS) they turn to me.

We had this one workstation built for the graphics designer. (photoshop, illustrator..)

Dual Pentium III 800
512 MB PC-133 RAM
MSI Mobo (don't remeber what chipset).
Matrox G450 32MB.
Ultra SCSI 160 and Cheeta HDDs,

we installed WInnt4 sp6 with no problems and Win98Se (for some company app that has problems on NT4) and the Win98 Crashed on the SMS ...

well to cut a long story short - after about 2 days of reinstalling and replacing parts and drivers we finally called M$.

they informed us about it :(

We finally solved by installing her computer with Win2k Pro (one of the first computers we install on..)

Sometimes you leran the hard way...

other times you post :)

Have you tried loading and updated driver? I am trying one dated 1-01...to see if that does anything for it. I have about 70 of these on the floor that this could potentially affect...I will let you know how it goes.......thanks again for all your help!b ;)
