My windows 98 second edition explorer crashes

A portable computer using windows98 second edition crashes whenever i'm in the explorer and i use the horizontal scroll bar, i just can´t understand it.(I need help quickly :confused:

if it's all that happens -

try reinstalling the Video card driver..

I have seen in the past faulty ram cause explorer to crash when ever you try to use the scroll bar.

Do a quick clean up of all your temp files internet and not internet. history cache.
these things sometimes help with explorer probs

Ram and Video are usually the culprits. If you wanna check other ways, try:

Start>Run>msinfo32

then click Tools>IE repair tool.

This is in IE 5.5 ;)
