Printer not working from Win98-Progs

Hi folks!

I have an epson stylus 600c installed on a Win98-system.

First time i installed the printer (yesterday) it worked properly.
Today i booted the mashine (i have only installed one design-prog before) and the printer doesn't work... but not at all!

This doesn't work:
- printing from windows-based progs
- the printer spooler doesn't get the file to print

This works:
- direct test from the (windows-based!) epson-utility - the printer ist online and prints!
- "copy file lpt1:" is ok!

I've got the newest driver, deinstalled it multiple times, but never reached the working situation.

Please help me out, i need a printout

.... well *hummm* thanks to myself!

I just exited my online-virusscan-prog and that's it!! (i think, by mistake i stopped it yesterday too - therefor it worked :-)))

Only to make it complete:
- I use Trend-PC-Cilin98 with real-time-scan and webscan

I hope that helps you all too...
