Can anyone tell me how to do a print screen when in a windows DOS BOX. I have a store program that is dos, I created a short cut on the windows desktop to thje program. There are times when I need to do a print screen of the information of the program, I've tryed the PRINT SCREEN key on my keyboard but its not functioning! Alt-printscreen doesnt work, ctrl-prtscr doesnot work. Where am I going wrong??

I assume that you tried Ctrl-P...that is the shortcut for printing from most Windows. Let me know...
Good luck,

I may be wrong, but it's my understanding that print screen was not included in dos commands after DOS 6.22 (ie.. win95 & up). It came up a couple of years ago from some of my customers running dos programs like yours and wanted this feature. I don't know the program or a source for it, but they solved the problem by purchasing a cheap program that supplemented the dos commands in windows 95 and included the print screen command.
I haven't tried it, but you might be able to copy the print command from dos 6.22 into the Windows\Command\ directory and see if it works.
Good luck.

I think you can get a print screen program from www.download.com (http://www.download.com)

Thanks everyone, Took swamprats suggestion, found a nice little, and pretty cool program, for doing the print screen. It's called PrintKey Pro. If anyones interested, got it from www.zdnet.com (http://www.zdnet.com)
