How can I connect a pc running win98se to a pc running win95 on a ethernet network using ISA network cards? They were ok until I installed win98se on one machine, now they do not see each other.

By default Win98SE uses only TCP/IP protocol. Check sharing box. RogerR August 17th, 2000, 10:02 AM My PC auto detects a card, as an NE2000 compatible, but after restarting, it tells me that the card is missing, has wrong drivers etc. It can't be either, as the drivers were automatically sorted out. Often after an upgrade the properties of TCP/IP are lost and must be manually re-entered. mikefink August 18th, 2000, 07:52 PM Try setting your W95 machines ip to 192.168.0. anything but one windrivers.com
